Dating apps in Auckland are built around photos. If you are a woman, the volume is usually worse: more messages, less intent, another Sunday on your phone. Mesa does not publish you. There is no public profile and no search. The person we introduce you to sees one photo — the one you uploaded. He cannot browse you or see a gallery. It is not a catalogue.

If you both say yes, Mesa books a table for two at a partner restaurant in Auckland and covers the meal and drinks, up to $150. Joining is free. There is no membership fee. You do not pay to be introduced. The first dinner is not a test of who reaches for the card.

The site is in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The Spanish is tú. The Portuguese is Brazilian. You can write your note in the language you actually speak. We do not require you to perform Kiwi small talk to be taken seriously.

Is Mesa safe for women in Auckland?
A real person reviews every application and every photo. Other members cannot search for you or browse a profile. Will men on Mesa see my photos?
